Post Body

So basically what the title says, a "friend" sold me a 2007 Infiniti fx45 two weeks ago. He originally was asking for 2500, but after driving it I noticed a couple weird things (passenger window rolls down a couple inches and doesn't go back up until parked and engine off, etc...) and I got him down to 2k. I tell him I only have $1500 atm and since I was a friend, he was gonna let me pay him the 500 in a couple days. After I sent the $ on PayPal and buddy leaves I realize he didn't give me the title or any paperwork... after a day or two I notice the brake lights are out and so are my rear blinkers, so I told my buddy if he comes and fixes the lights and gives me the title I'll give him the 500... dude shows up with a buddy and starts working on the lights, he says he needs to check the fuses so asks for the keys (I stupidly give him the keys). While I'm screwing the brake lights back on, he says he has to get his code reader, so he goes to the car, gets in and they drive off..... like wtf. He took my house keys and mail key as well, which he's ignored my texts and it's been 4 days now. He's the type of person that I know for a fact he'll never give me back the keys, so I kinda did something impulsive and trashed the car and slashed the tires, and in the morning it was gone.... what can I do? I feel scammed, especially since I had run the VIN # and the vehicle was actually a 2004 Infiniti fx35.... did I mess up any kinda of action I could take cuz I damaged the vehicle even though I have the texts and PayPal receipt to prove that it was my car....
