My wife (non resident Haitian) called in a false strangulation report on August 29th she said that I had a gun and then at around 4-5pm, she told the police she was hit on the head and strangulated to the point where she can’t breathe she also said that i threatened to kill her numerous times on August 28th. I was arrested while I was in my way to school, in the parking lot of my apartment (IU INDIANAPOLIS) I’m scared what’s the outcome going to be for me ? I’m from Indiana and they put me in jail for 3 weeks now im failing my classes and this would be my 1st offense. My wife not only had no evidence but on August 29th my mom was there and seen the whole thing and I was also filming before the police showed up.

The police also took my Tec-22 and a couple of 40 shells as evidence for strangulation and domestic battery, but I used to owe many firearms and didn’t take any photos of her

I’m Afraid because every seems to be getting hit with serious charges and bad outcomes

I’ve send my public defenders evidence my wife works from 7-4 and and it takes her about 42 minutes to come home from her work so she arrived around 4:42-4:50 and at 5;00pm I was on Facebook texting someone and then that same day she went me $100 and we went to the store and we went to the ATM, I sent them videos of me at home on August 28th with my daughter in the house that it happened And so around August 28 she wasn’t even at home for around 4-5 and then she sent me $100 and we went to the store

And I sent them a video of her saying during the augmented “ don’t worry today you are going to jail” on August 29th

my wife not only used a language interpreter for her report but I as confused the whole time I was arrested The state placed a non contact order and try to put me on house arrest and Gps,’t wife then went to court and she had the job contact order lifted, and the gps dropped and now I’m back at home with her and we just opened up a joint bank account.

What exactly should I look forward to because I have never had any run ins with the law and I have no idea how this works
