I'm not sure what to put this under but I really hope someone can help ease my mind. I'm 19, I live with my mother and her husband I'm severely mentally ill, depression, anxiety, cptsd all from my biological fathers abuse. My next door neighbor has been causing issues for so long now. We tried to brush it all off before as they were minor issues for about 2 years we lived here. but the second my mother's husband moved in with us, he started banging on the doors and walls screaming threats at my dogs for the barking every time we left the house. He then started threats with my mother's husband. Police were involved and after another incident where he was banging on the door and walls again threatening to kill my mother's husband the police took him. He was away for a while, there was a court date my parents went to and he ended up in prison for harassment and stalking and we got a restraining order (he private rents his house so they he cant be kicked out) He came back, banged on the walls through the night, wanders about infront of the house, keeps telling all the other neighbors we're horrible. He keeps standing outside talking about how he's gonna have my mother put away for as long as possible for purgery defamation of character ect. He started saying he couldn't handle the dogs barking anymore so we had made adjustments and they don't. Then his problem was with my mother's husband, saying he was threatening and provoking him. He said we put a snake skin through his letterbox (the snake skin he took from outside of our house when we first moved here) Now he's saying he's recording every time my parrots squak/screech between 11 in the morning to 6 in the evening (when it's bright). Then he's moved his attention back to my mother. Is there anything he can do ? I'm so fucking stressed and I don't know anything legally but I can't cope with this. He's so insanely triggering it scares the shit out of me. I hate the banging, I hate the threats, he keeps calling out "eye for an eye tooth for a tooth" and "there's more than one way to skin a cat" I don't know what to do. We can't get anywhere to move rn. We don't do anything. We try so hard to be quiet. Our front door won't even lock anymore since he was banging on it and we can't get it fixed for a few weeks. Both my mother and her husband work days and sometimes overnight. I don't want to be here alone. I don't have anywhere to go. Just tell me if he can do anything or not because I'm getting so stressed over the possibility of losing the house or my parents getting locked away or anything. Never once have we been near his house other than passing it on the way to stores, work, days out. We have security cameras up aswell as him. I don't know what to do.
