I am 15 years old and I fucked up. Several girls form another school insulted girls at my school and I threatened them indirectly. Volleyball girls were insulting other volleyball girls and everyone else started to argue. There was a war online between my school and the other school. I sent a private message to my friend on Snapchat insulting the girls and ending my sentence with “Before me, a knife, and a shovel get involved”. My friend screenshotted that image and put it on his story. Other people told me good work and I bandwagoned on with them. I am aware what I did was dumb but I don’t want to jeapordize anything. I have to meet with the principals of both schools, the superintendent, the sheriffs dept, and the Illinois State police are involved. I have so many questions and so many worries. Do I need a lawyer? Will I go to jail? Should I throw my friend under the bus, it was a conversation that I didn’t put any thought into and I don’t mean? What crime did I commit? Other kids have said much worse things than me and they get off Scott free.
