A California based company occasionally emails me these "tips" emails and cannot find an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Is this legal?

Post Body

I live in BC, Canada. I don’t know if I should post here or the Canadian legal advice subreddit. I know California has a pretty strict anti-spam law, so I looked into it. from this link: https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/. can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business , the emails I receive aren't really marketing emails but I also don't want these emails.

I also looked into Canada's anti-spam law. Both the FTC and CRTC states it should include an unsubscribe link with the email.

I couldn't find an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email, and didnt find anything on the app as well.

This is an email I received from the company this morning:

“Subject: How to Keep Your Personal Information Safe / Comment protéger vos renseignements personnels

Staying safe online. Technology brings us enjoyment and convenience, but bad actors can use it for exploitation. We’d like to take a minute to remind you some quick tips to stay safe from spam, fraud, and scams.”
