I got pulled over today in violation of s O.C.G.A. ยง 40-6-72. Officer stated that I did not stop for the stop sign. My question pertains to background checks. I have seen so many conflicting pieces online. Since all moving violations are technically misdemeanors in GA and if the judge does not reduce it to a local ordinance offence, will this type of conviction show up on a job's background check since I did not get arrested or fingerprinted? I understand it will show up on my M.V.R. but yeah just concerned this can affect employment opportunities or apartment applications. Thanks
