I received a letter from change healthcare stating that they had a data breach in February 2024 and I’m now being notified of this in September via a letter.
Everything was stolen- personal information, medical records, etc. This is insane. All they are offering is a two-year credit monitoring while my private life ( and others) is out there on the black market forever…
Can I get a lawyer? Should I get a lawyer? What type of lawyer do I hire? Do we as patient and consumers have any rights at this point for this matter?
