My neighbor just moved of his (rented) house, and now the owner is doing lots of renovations. There's an old beaten down fence between our properties, and I'm terrified he's going to ask me to help pay for replacing, repairing, or removing it: I am completely broke, barely able to afford groceries, so that would ruin me.
I don't even know if it's on the property line, but if it is, could I be forced to help finance anything involving it?
