I received an Uber request from Dallas to Oklahoma City. Passenger smelled like weed. The smell does not bother me. However on the way back after dropping passenger off I was pulled over around 6am in Oklahoma since Tesla auto pilot went 8 over speed limit to pass a semi. Cop asked me to get out of my vehicle and follow him inside his car. He proceeds to ask me how much weed is in the car. I stated none and explained my previous passenger smelled of it. Showed cop proof of long trip in Uber app. Cop Asked to search my vehicle which I declined. Officer proceeded to search vehicle since smell was strong enough for probable cause. Meanwhile I am detained while backup arrives to help search vehicle. Nothing is found and I am given a written warning for speeding.
Do I have any strong legal options?
