Post Body

My partner and his foreman made a verbal agreement that my partner would pay $2500 for a car, with an initial $1k down and then pay $100 with each paycheck. He has now paid $2k total. Last week his foreman quit and even the owner of the company can’t get ahold of him. My partner has the last $500 that he owes and has been trying to contact both him and his partner whom he lives with.

My biggest concern is that this guy walked away with $2k and the car.

Is there anything that can be done from a legal stance?
