I’m not really sure what flair to use but this seems to be valid. I’m 17, my mother has been in and out of jail all of my life and I am trying to help her clean up her act. I’ve called and she has multiple warrants and she is scared to turn herself in because all of the charges are for possession (there may be a possession of a gun charge I’m not sure). I have no clue where she is, but I speak to her on the phone. I’m trying to convince her to turn herself in so she can restart her life and she is open to the idea but very wary because I graduate this year and she’s scared to get put away for 20 years because of a plea bargain she may or may not have taken (I’m not sure because she’s a pathological liar lol). My question is this, in the state of Louisiana, with multiple warrants for possession (as a repeat offender) how many years is she realistically looking at?
