Truck owner died and gave truck to grandpa but never officially

My grandfather recently passed away and has 2 trucks, one was originally owned by a man with cancer who lived with him but died earlier then expected. Before he died he stated multiple times he wanted my grandfather to have the truck but my grandfather never transferred it to his name. Is there any way we can get that truck transferred to my dad?
