I worked as a bar tender in Halifax, Nova Scotia up until recently when I cut my thumb on the job, severing the flexor tendon and the nerves. Iโm currently laid off 8 weeks at the earliest as I canโt close my dominant hand. Iโm trying to work out my workers compensation report to send off. However I noticed in the report the bookkeeper (the owners wife) has stated I only work 3 nights a week, and that I work 8.5 hours per shift when I reality I work longer shifts 5 days a week. My last several pay cheques are all the exact same amount (60 hours biweekly) when I work far more hours, and varying amounts. But typically I put it 50 per week. Where the heck do I even start?!
