Let a family member use my car now I owe $800 worth of tickets

Let a family member use my car for a couple months, I went to the dmv to renew my tags and they say I owe $800 dollars in traffic tickets and violations. Is there anyway I can take this issue too court because I didn’t acquire those tickets on my own and said family member is not willing to pay.
