So we have a boss that is of a certain nationality. When they were hired they brought a few employees and contractors into the organization that were from the same country they were from. They have a list of employees they are sitting on, which are future possible hires and they are all from that country. Recently we have had a few employees resign and the company is not accepting resumes as the new management is trying to staff will additional people from their country of origin. Itβs feeling very biased and I feel that the goal is to replace all of the managers and upper level staff with people they want to bring in. At what point is this a legal issue? Can you say only hire people because of their nationality? They all seem well qualified but the diversity of people is quickly shrinking. Thoughts?
