My girlfriend recently got a letter from the marketplace telling her that she was no longer eligible for her insurance as she had Medicaid. Today she called and was told that it was likely fraud/identity theft. She has called the police to make a report, and she's waiting to be contacted back to finish that report. As it stands it sounds like they are going to try and make her pay 200 dollars for the next 3 months before her marketplace credit resumes.
Are there any agencies we should be contacting for this that we haven't? And in that process is there a way to get her back on her insurance with her credit rather than having to pay the inflated price?
