I got a check from Wells Fargo that is several thousand dollars that’s written to both me and my ex-wife for mistakes that Wells Fargo found in our mortgage.
The problem is my ex-wife won’t meet for us to cash the check. I have been doing the research and finding the mistakes that Wells Fargo had made and I’m in the process of getting ready to start mediation with them as a first . The letter that came with the check states very clearly cashing the check does not take away our rights for legal recourse or mediation.
Is there a way to legally compel her to meet me to sign the check?
