I contested a parking citation and have not heard back yet. What happens now?
Iâm in Los Angeles, California. Itâs been 14 days since I contested it online. I havenât received a response, so I decided to go on the website and put in my information again. It gives me an option to âRequest Hearingâ. What does that mean? And why havenât I received a response yet?
It was a citation for parking on the street between 2AM-5AM without a permit. I stated on the form that there is no sign anywhere on my street, blocks in both directions, about not being able to park on the street between those hours. Doesnât there have to be a sign?
