TLDR : The termination letter I received has many lies in it. Things that I can disprove with screenshots.
Close to a month into the job, a family emergency occured, and I told my boss that I'll be leaving the country next weekend, and would come back soon. The same day, my manager called me with an HR person, and asked me to resign because "I would not be available"
They told me to give an answer by end of day. I then asked on teams for a summary of our meeting, as well as HR guidelines used to make that decision. Manager said Ok HR lady will give you that" but she didn't.
So I kept working as usual, since I have no reason to resign. I told the HR person on teams that I was shocked by the decision to let me go for a family emergency reason, and that I am still waiting for an answer. No response for 2 days from anyone.
When I come back home from the emergency, I see that I received a letter saying that I was terminated because of a no call no show (I actully worked during that day and have proof I did) and because I decided to work from home during a work from office day (that was because of sickness, and I informed everyone).
What is my recourse here ? They're even saying thay they'll deduct the owed salary if I don't bring back the material in a "reasonable timeframe" lol
