Post Body

Hey all. I just sat down to pay my ticket because I got oaid today and realized I am late by literally 4 minutes. On the ticket it says:

If you fail to appear by the date specified on the front of this citation, or at the date and time scheduled for a hearing, a default judgment will be entered against you. A person who fails to answer a citation is guilty of a misdemeanor. Timely application to the court for hearing or return of the citation with an admission of responsibility and with full payment of applicable civil finds and cost constitute a timely appearance.

So did I miss my time to appeal (I'm not going to) or am I fucked and a stupid impeding traffic ticket now gives me a criminal record, for one day late? I'll be going to court first thing the morning with the money as the site is confusing as hell and I don't know how to pay online.

This is my first ticket ever. I feel so STUPID. I'm literally sick with worry about this.
