The person I already deleted the content as I confronted them about it. However, I want to send a cease and desist to "warn" them to stop copying me in the future and stay off my websites etc... I actually contacted a lawyer and he said there is no point to send a cease and desist as they already took down the content.
However, I want this person to be under some type of duress and sort of "scare" them to avoid copying me in the future. A firmly worded letter from a lawyer would be more effective than me going and back and forth with them. Is a cease and desist appropriate for this and if not, what would be?
