Post title sums it up, a few days ago I purchased four new tires at a mechanic shop I was driving to work and my car started shaking really bad, I was able to get off the highway, but as soon as I got off the exit my front driver side tire flew off. The tire it self was still full of air and never popped.
I contacted the mechanic shop and they had it towed to the shop and informed me they could look at it on Monday when they’re open. They said they needed to check if it was their fault or not, but if it was they would fix it.
Should I be worried they’ll try and alter the vehicle to make it seem like it wasn’t their fault? They told me on the phone it could of been because of my hub but I’ve never had any previous issues with the car or my tires before this.
Would they be required to fix everything in order to get the vehicle back to the same condition it was previously? I live 40 mins from work and I’m really concerned about how I going to get there and back currently.
I made sure to take plenty of pictures and videos before the car was towed. I haven’t contacted a lawyer yet, was going to wait too see what they said Monday. Any and all advice is appreciated!
