Hi everyone,
Was looking for some guidance on an issue I am having with one of my wedding vendors.
My fiance had her hair trial with a potential vendor and she could not do what she claimed she was able to do. We did sign a contract that states we have to pay her for the services if we cancel within 12 weeks of the date (it’s now 6 weeks away). She won’t let us out of the contract, so we plan on paying her the fee. We will share factual evidence with photographs that her hair came out horrible and nowhere near what we asked for.
She is now threatening to sue us if we post a negative review of her. Does she have any ground to stand on here?
Also, when we originally decided to go with her, she sent us someone else’s contract with their personal information on it. Is that legal for her to do?
I really appreciate any guidance here since this is obviously a stressful situation for my fiance.
(Apologies if this isn’t the right flair)
