I'm seeking advice for my pregnant fiance in MN as a assisted living housekeeper.
She gave a doctor's note to her immediate supervisor which states: No bending, stooping, or reaching below the waist. No work weeks more than 32 hours. The supervisor and her came up with a plan to accommodate her.
The supervisor then went to the site director and he refused to make accommodations and sent her home. They stated to use FMLA.
Do you think this is an unreasonable request for her position? Is it unjust that the supervisor had a plan and the director refused her accommodations?
