Post Body

Basically the title. I have a 1099 contract with a company & they have a stipulation in the contract that they may terminate the contract if I file for personal or business bankruptcy.

I’m at a point with my personal finances that I’m contemplating doing chapter 7 personal bankruptcy. How does it work in situations like this? I’ve never had this clause in a contract before. If I didn’t tell the company about it, how would they even know?
