So my partner got served a temporary PFA on trumped up stuff basically his brother got mad and filed I don't want to give too much away but the brother is basically just trying to get guns taken away because it will hurt my partner the most. Anyway I'm trying to help him gather evidence that everything that was said was made up. Mostly the evidence will be phone records.

I called the phone companies and they said they need a lawyer to release them. I called and left a message with the public defenders office because we cannot afford a lawyer or get around this roadblock. Will they be able to help or will I be wasting their/my time talking to them? Can we ask the judge to tell the brother to leave us alone after this? I'm afraid he's going to escalate until the worst happens.
