So I was reading my work handbook and read this resignation section "While we hope both you and ... will mutually benefit from your continued employment, we realize that it may become necessary for you to leave your job with ... If you anticipate having to resign your position with..., you are expected to notify in writing either to... or to the area director, at least two (2) weeks in advance of the date that you must leave. Failure to do so will result in your final pay period being compensated at minimum wage, Any personal items left in the store after your departure will be discarded, so it is imperative that you make sure you have removed all of your personal belongings from the restaurant." And was curious if an employer in Ohio could legally change your payrate for hours you've already worked.
