My 23yo daughter who lives in Spokane was hired with no experience to work with autistic children. After very minimal training she was sent on her first in home visit. It was a type of group home for autistic people. The “child” was a 21yo male who got irate because he just wanted to go to sleep. When the in home caregiver (60’ish man) wouldn’t let him go to bed, he grabbed my daughter and bit her in the forehead. Though it turned out to be a small puncture, she bled profusely. Her company acted as if it’s no big deal - No apology, no offer to test for hepatitis or any other disease, not even a tetanus shot. Should she see a lawyer?
