Wife lying on a police report

I made a report of assault that my ex wife committed while I was holding out child that was only 6 months old. When she responded to the officer who contacted her. She lied and said there was no assault and no altercation. What can I do to reverse this. I have proof that there was and she admitted this to who we were being counseled by (not a legal counselor). What steps can I take because this happened. This is due to a divorce with her being physically, verbally and mentally abusive to me and our children.
