Grandpa stole check.
Post Body

Hi everyone, I recently refinanced my car to get my grandpa off my car loan. I was a soul person and paying for the car and paying for the insurance of the vehicle. I’ve never missed a payment on the vehicle. And since I have refinanced, my vehicle got his name off of it. My lender overpaid Ford. Ford sent out a check for both him and my names on it because yes, he was the cosigner on vehicle and now he is keeping the check and has possibly cashed in without my signature. Because the bank that we go through is kind of shady, but I have all the proof that I have made every single payment on the vehicle by myself. Can I take him to court for this if he doesn’t give me the check? I’m in Indiana if that makes a difference.
