Improper medical billing
Post Body

Hi, On December 25 I had to use the ER services from a hospital. Before going to the room, I contacted my travel insurance that instructed me to go to this specif hospital. I did what they said and sign everything. I was under my travel insurance coverage. However, the hospital/charging company keeps sending me medical bills even I sent to them all the information necessary. I keep receiving it and every time it's a different $$$ and totally random. I already called the billing company and explained everything. My insurance company told me to ignore these billings but it disturbs me a lot.

Is there anything I can do about it? And who is the responsible in this situation? The insurance company or the hospital?

Thank you
