Police told a person in an unrelated incident investigation information on me

Post Body

I’m not sure how to title this or flair this, sorry for that in advance.

So essentially I’m being investigated by my states bureau of investigation for something completely false, I’ve already talked face to face with police on the matter a while ago and I thought it was put to sleep. I’m not worried about that case, so the details are mostly irrelevant on that.

But I had an incident recently where I was assaulted, and somehow, some way, the person that assaulted me learned of the investigation and loudly announced to my neighborhood that I’m being investigated. Is there anything I can do here to either the cops who told the info or the lady for announcing it? I’m not sure why they told her but now the whole neighborhood knows and that’s not something I wanna be known for especially if it’s something with 0 substancial evidence.
