what can I do

I got a motorcycle and the license plate was mailed to my parents house (that I live at) long story short my dad brought the plate and envelope back to the post office because he was mad about me having a motorcycle… I paid for the plate and registration and now I don’t have tags because my father sent my own mail back what can/ should I do to handle this situation? thanks in advance
