Post Body

My brother is not old enough to gamble, and I’m currently staying with family for the summer. While I was sleeping, my brother went into my wallet without my knowledge and used my ID to sign up for a gambling app where he can bet on sports. Needless to say I was pissed when I found out and tried to make him delete his account, but he refused and insists that it won’t affect me since he’s paying with his money. My parents won’t do anything about it since he’s their baby and can do no wrong.

What I want to know is, will this affect me? i don’t want him to get in trouble for identity theft unless I know I can actually have negative effects from this. Will I have to report this on my taxes, and is this overall bad for me?
