As the title says I purchased a car on 2/12/24 from a used car dealer in jersey city nj. Paid a $175 title & registration fee. Dealer at first offered a car swap but I've put money into this car so I declined. Now they are being avoidant and unresponsive. Last I talked to then 2 weeks ago they said they are still waiting for it all from the dmv. Do I have anything proactive I can do to help move along this process? If they can never produce a title what are my legal recourses? Thanks for the help guys!
