Had personal information acquired and used in a legal document without my permission. What can I do? I'm in Tennessee.

Post Body

Background: A friend and work colleague of mine is currently in the middle of a divorce. He has a custody hearing coming up and his wife is trying to make it seem like he has a drinking problem and would be unfit to share custody of their children. She has listed me (among others) as "witness to his drinking problem" and included some of my information on their divorce documents.

My problem: She listed my information without my permission. She does not have my phone number. I have never given it to her or called her. She stole my friends old cell phone and acquired my (and the other parties' numbers). I have a big problem with her doing this and feel like my privacy has been breached.

Question: Is this legal? If not, is there anything (reasonable) I can do about this? I don't think it's worth hiring a lawyer and paying a lot of money for something like this, but I would like to know what I can do, if anything.

Many thanks in advance.
