Post Body

I’ve been living here for 2 years and we have constantly problems with roaches. The landlord have carried out exterminations many times and the problem does not end, my girlfriend and I are very clean, we even do deep cleaning from time to time and the roaches do not stop coming out, the landlord already changed our appliances and gave us another temporary apartment for 2 months, but the problem persists since we are back at the apartment. I have emails and 22 extermination work orders. I would just like to know if I can ask for financial compensation for the time lost and meals that we had to buy while they were exterminating. Every time we had to go out for 5 hours and it was very exhausting because it messed up our days and exposed several times to chemicals. I would also like to know if I can hold them responsible if I have to throw away my couch because I found a cockroach there and I don't know if it is infested. Please help 😭 I know I can break my lease but it's already over at the end of the month and we're moving. but I want them to compensate us. Also I’m afraid that we can take roaches with us hiding in our stuff when move.
