When I bought my property, it had just been surveyed. These little poles with orange string tied to them marked my property line. It was butted up with my neighbors property. We both have perfectly square lots of 1 acre. My neighbor and I used railroad crossties to act as a barrier between our properties and he parked all of his cars (5-6 vehicles) up against those crossties. At some point he was having his driveway paved and moved all of those vehicles to my side (we agreed on this). So now there's all his and 1 of my vehicles up against those crossties on MY side. Well he passed away unfortunately. Loved that old man. His son, daughter in law and grandson take it over and start cleaning up. They asked about the cars and I told them yes they were his. All but the one. While I'm at work, they have a wrecker come get them ALL. I ask about it when I get home and they've all gone to the crusher or scrapyard. Why wouldn't the wrecker service guy verify that he was getting JUST their stuff? Can you just call a wrecker and point to a vehicle and they'll take it wherever as long as you pay them? This is wild. The car is paid for, I have the title, registration, and keys. Everything in my name. Where do I start?
