How much can a pharmacy change in a prescription.
Post Body
Colorado resident. We find that our pharmacy will alter our medications on a regular basis (we understand generic replacements when the name brand isn't available). For example, we have a prescription for exactly 4 doses of 1.2 units of a prescription. They only give us 4 single unit vials, because they think the additional .2 is unnecessary. We regularly have to go back and get the unfilled amount.
Is this within their legal rights to make this change?
