Attacked by gym employee. Do i have grounds for lawsuit?
Post Body

Hey Reddit,

I had an incident today at the gym where a gym employee, and a friend of his, basically were hostile towards me inside the gym.

They then proceeded to wait for me outside and when i tried to leave they basically jumped me. It was 2 of them. 1 of them being the gym employee. This happened in the lobby of the gym so iā€™m pretty sure it was caught on camera.

I did go to the ER for a cut above my brow but no stitches. A police report was also filed and iā€™m waiting at home now for the police to show up( its 1:30AM here)

So i am obviously pressing charges on these people, my question is, do i have any grounds to sue the gym for being attacked by one of its employees?

For reference this is a big commercial chain gym with hundreds of locations

Thank you for any help you can provide Reddit!
