My fiancee and I are living with my in-laws while we find our own footing. We have one child, a 20 month old, 2 dogs, and a cat. We pay our own bills, we keep to ourselves, and we keep our spaces cleaned.
Them, on the other hand, have 4 kids here, none of which who clean anything, including the parents (my in-laws), and they have 4 dogs and 4 cats, none of which are properly house trained, some arent neutered, none are trained, overall its a disgusting pigsty, and no one will do anything about it.
One of the kids brought home bed bugs, and the school found out, and offered to send a company over to treat for the bed bugs, free of charge, which is awesome, howver , the house is gross, im worried they wont get it cleaned properly before the exterminators come, and they will tell the school and call CPS.
If that happens, am I going to lose my child for a problem that im not a part of because i happen to live in one of the bedrooms?
For context: I do not pay rent, their is not written agreement between us and the in-laws.
