Would you hire an attorney that’s about to retire?
Post Body

I’m getting married this year and have had a couple of consultations with some attorneys to get a prenup. The one attorney that I’m interested in hiring to write it up is retiring next month but said we could get it done in time.

With that said, he said because he is retiring, he won’t necessarily be representing me and will instead take a “mutual” role of representation for myself and my fiancé. He obviously won’t be able to represent me down the road either if ever a problem comes to surface.

Would you find a different attorney? Or is this fine
