2nd Car Automatically Covered?
Post Body

Okay so I bought a car on the 16th of September and got into a bad crash on the on the 19th of October, got physically assaulted post crash so have a case going on but the police report blames me for the crash when I wasn’t responsible:/ they were coming eastbound in the westbound lane, I was heading westbound in the westbound lane and we both swerved to avoid collision yet still collided. Been calling the police department everyday as I was told by my lawyer to get the report amended, but every time they say the officer it out on a call and that I can leave a message, I do so every time. But at this point it just feels like they’re avoiding me??? It’s Dallas Police btw. Anyway my real question is that neither they nor I had any insurance. But since I’m the co signer on my car and technically my sister would be the real owner, my sister has Geico full coverage insurance on her car and it allows for a 30 day grace period for any second car, would my car fall in that category and of yes what should I tell them exactly? does what happened even matter since the report twisted literally all of what happened:/ the damages are atleast 13k and it’s a 2020 Hyundai Sonata please advise
