Can an employer legally fire me for consuming Hemp?

(UT)This isn’t a scenario thats happened but I want to be prepared if it ever does happen. Important things to know are I live in a state where marijuana is medically legal but im talking about hemp, not marijuana. The hemp may show up on a drug test as THC. It’s also a federally legal Hemp derived product, containing <%0.3 THC-9 that is consumed for medicinal purposes. Would it be legal for my job to fire me for it?
