Landlord wants to avoid filling eviction and would prefer me to abandon the place. But asked to come into office to talk about it. How does that work???

Post Body

So I’m two months behind rent (thus is the second month) and landlord asked me to abandon my apartment asap or file eviction. I’m thinking if they haven’t filed eviction can’t I just pay rent by this Friday? In full? I mean I can abandon the place but how does that work? AND I have to move out my stuff. They’re crazy if they think I’m going to leave all my furniture and belongings there. I’m confused on what to do? Texas :)
