We bought the house in 2018. We occasionally get mail for the people that we bought from, but I don’t think anything about it. I just stick it back in the box with a note on it that they no longer live here.

The other day when I pulled in the driveway, a guy pulled up in a truck right behind me. He got out and asked “Is Teresa home.” I explained to him that she no longer lives here. He sighed and said that “People use their old address to take out loans sometimes. Sorry to bother you and people may hound you for a while but it will eventually stop” and then he left.

I don’t think it will but just want to make sure. Is there a chance that her using our address could come back and bite us somehow? She apparently uses her name, but our address.
