I recently applied for a job offer with people that claimed to be from "Luminis Health", the offer was for a data entry position for $30-$35 an hour. While hindsight is 20/20, I was gullible to the first reply I've had since graduating. They sent me a digital check for $1,400 to buy supplies from a certain vendor called "tia lovel", once the check passed through I thought it was safe to order the supplies. The day after I ordered the supplies I get a message stating that the deposited check was returned and the amount I paid to the vendor was still missing. Is there anything I can do to get a return on the money I spent? I also still haven't received a receipt for the items that I bought from the vendor.
