Really long story here, but basically landlord company botched a water leak repair which lead to mold and us getting sick for 3 months. They offered to settled with a new one bedroom that is smaller, and some compensation. But they want us to sign all future health liabilities away which we didn't agree too and now their lawyer is demanding we vacate the facility.

I already have my lawyer going through this, and I have alerted local authorities but wondering what other resources there might be?

Do they have any grounds to evict me? I have not been served any official notice just their lawyer shouting to my lawyer we have to turn in the keys and vacate.

Also we never stopped paying rent though we don't even live in the apartment because the mold problem is still prevelant and it's gross.
