Landlord double book my unit after I have received the keys and check the room and went back to hometown to get my stuff

Landlord in Texas have someone else living at my unit after I signed the documents and have my set of keys and did the pre check of the apartment. Left for the weekend to get my stuff and when I came back I found out someone else is living at my unit.
What can I do as they are trying to put to me into a smaller unit that has a lot of defects (pest, a lot of noise will not allow me to sleep, broken doors)
