So my gf has recently been hired at a behavioral hospital and she has informed me that forms of abuse come from the people that reside there. From slaps on the ass to hair pulling. I already told her that I won’t stand for it if it happens to her and she said that nothing has ever been done about it in the past and I researched it and found out that the sexual assualt CAN be persued regardless of disability or mental illness and at least have that person(s) relocated. But the physical abuse is one I’m unsure of especially since she says that they were forced to sign off on being ok with the abuse….and that just seems like an employer taking advantage and giving the patients an out. Can someone please tell me whether or not it’s ok for them to do that? And what all I can do if it’s reported by her and nothing is done about it.
